Google search for a proxy for Face Book in China
by admin on Sep.06, 2011, under Networking, Uncategorized
Searches in China for a proxy have increased dramatically in the past couple years. Face book is the largest social networking site in the world, and China, as always, in an effort to be a “black sheep”, has blocked the site. A proxy for Face book in China has become a necessary tool for any expat living in China, or any Chinese person interested in the outside world. As the Internet in China becomes smaller, more restricted, and less available, the Internet outside of China continues to grow at an amazing rate, and the things we can do with it are cooler and cooler every day.
A proxy for Face book in China is an interesting thing, because it won’t be here forever. There are two reasons why eventually we won’t need a proxy to unblock sites in China. One, is that eventually China will let up, unblock sites, and we won’t need to bypass Internet censorship. The other is that they’ll slowly phase out any proxy sites that are available in China, and proxies for Face book and other sites in China simply won’t exist. My vote is with the latter. China will never lose face and give up it’s Internet censorship policies.
So how can you find a proxy for Face book in China? It’s pretty easy with a Google search. You’ve only got to search for a proxy in China, and about a hundred will turn up. They’re not all good, and they’re not all cheap, but there are quite a few to choose from. Just be careful which terms you choose to search. For example, you can search the term “proxy” and “China”, but you can’t search for the term “Facebook” or “Youtube”. Searching for banned terms will get Google to shut down completely, and you’ll have to close the window and maybe even restart Firefox. It’s annoying, but it’s the reality that people in China live in!
What you can get with a US IP

With an American IP address, surfing the Internet can be a very different experience. Freedom on the Internet is not something every place in the world enjoys, and a US IP will get you past Internet censors. You’ll be able to unblock social networking sites like Facebook, and video blogging sites like Youtube. You’ll have access to sites blocked from users outside The US – sites like Hulu, Pandora, Netflix, Fox, and other American news sites. A virtual private network is not the only way to get an American IP address, but it is definitely the most secure, and the most reliable. A VPN offers many advantages over other IP hiding tools, i.e. proxies – features like data encryption and tunneling. A VPN is the most reliable and secure way to change and hide your IP address.
